Donation for the building of a Masjid in Canterbury, Kent, UK

I received this email last week and I thought I should post it here. Really it's the best that I could do at the moment. To those who are in UK, you shouldn't pass this chance in helping the building of a Masjid. Even a few pounds will do. Girls, If you can buy an LV bag, then what's stopping you from donating now? Boys, if you can spend your money on those different types of football shoes that you have now, then you shouldn't think twice to donate. Come on peeps!! You can do it!!

Assalamualaikum,

Sukacita kan menyempaikan hajat pihak Canterbury Muslim Cultural Centre (CMCC), Kent yang memohon derma seangkat-angkat hati untuk membangun sebuah Masjid di Canterbury. At the moment, Muslims here meminjam tempat di University untuk digunakan sebagai tempat beribadat incl. Sembahyang Jumaat, terawih etc...Alhamdulillah tahun ani barutah the Islamic society dapat kebenaran UK planning untuk mendirikan masjid after about 20 years waiting for approval. Iatah the planning approval atu validnya inda lama, the most 2 years. So, now the CMCC is pleading for derma (Kesian...durang dah minjam duit apa, iatah they need to raise about 50K pounds lagi) in the next 2 months. Anyway (panjang lebar tah pulang my email ani) could I ask you please to forward this email to all our Bruneian in-service training officers yang ada di UK yang abiskita tau, manalah tau ada yang kan membuat amal.

Just to make an addendum. If anyone di Brunei/UK kan ikut menderma, an easier way is to just transfer/deposit your donation to my HSBC UK or Brunei account. Insya Allah tarus sampai and will be cost free! Please email me for my account details at mimimalil@hotmail.com

Oh and another good news, Insya Allah pembinaan masjid akan bermula bulan hadapan.
